*THE TRANSISTOR WAS INVENTED IN 1947.NOT SEE WIDESPREAD.BECOME SAMLLER,FASTER,CHEAPER,MORE ENERGY STILL RELIED ON PUNCHED CARD FOR INPUT AND PRINTOUTS FOR OUTPUT.FROM CRYPTIC BINARY MACHINE LANGAUGE TO SYMBOLIC,OR ASSEMBLY,LANGUAGES




THIRD GENARATION (1964~1971) INTEGRATED CIRCUITS
*WERE MINIATURIZED AND PALCED ON SILICON CHIP,CALLED SEMICONDUCTOR.THOUGH KEYBOARD AND MINITORS AND INTERFACED WITH AN OPERATING SYSTEM.MANY DIFFERENT APPLICATION AT ONE TIME WITH A CENTRAL PROGRAM.THEY WERE SMALLER AND CHEAPER THAN THEIR PREDECESSOR

FOURTH GENARATION (1971~PRESENT) MICROPROCESSOR
*AS THOUSAND OF INTEGRATED CIRCUIT WERE BUILT ONTO A SINGLE SILICON CHIP.ALL THE COMPONENT OF THE COMPUTER FROM THE CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT AND MEMORY TO INTUP/OUTPUT CONTROL-ON A SINGLE CHIP



FIFTH GENARATION (PRESENT AND BEYOND)
*ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE,ARE STILL IN DEVELOPMENT.THE GOAL OF FIFTH GENARATION COMPUTING IS TO DEVELOP IS TO DEVELOP DEVICES THAT RESPOND TO NATURAL LANGUAGE INPUT AND ARE CAPABLE OF LEARNING AND SELF ORGANIZATION
